Nominated in 2012 as one of “The Best Comics in Minneapolis”, Tiffany Norton is one of the talented new faces to come out of the Twin Cities comedy scene. In 2007, after becoming fed up with Corporate America, Tiffany decided to cash in her retirement, leave the 9-5 world and pursue her dream of becoming a stand up comic. “I am not saying that my old boss didn’t have a soul but, I am saying he didn’t have a reflection.”
That same year Ms. Norton began performing at local open mic nights and began an internship on the Tone E Fly Morning Show in Minneapolis. She eventually worked her way up to become the Producer and Alternate Street Reporter/Writer for the Morning Show in the fall of 2008. In early 2009, Tiffany’s work as a comic and producer was noticed and she became a regular pop-culture contributor for a local NBC affiliate that year. In 2011, Tiffany decided to focus strictly on Stand-up and was accepted into the World Series of Comedy® and became a finalist for the Absolut® Funniest
Comedian Contest. Ms. Norton was also a feature performer during the 2011 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at the Legendary Buffalo Chip.
Tiffany tends to take what is normally dark subject matter and inject it with silliness and irreverence, “My daughter told me the other day that I was her best friend. I thought, “Wow, she is just like me…she has horrible taste in friends.””. Her material
covers a wide-array of subjects and gives both sides of the aisle plenty to
laugh at. Tiffany’s energetic and confident approach will get you laughing and thinking.
